A dream come true
Tom Brady, out for the season with a knee injury.
Come on, it couldn’t have happened to a better guy. You know, since he’s so modest. A gracious loser. (How wonderful was the SuperBowl? Best day EVER.) And a fabulous family man.
And Bill Belichick. Aww, how my heart aches for him. Seeing as how he’s such a ray of sunshine. Doesn’t tell his players to play dirty. No, no. And not a cheater. No way.
So, here we have it. The opportunity. One season where someone else is given the chance to dominate. Am I saying I think it’s going to be the Bills?
Don’t be ridiculous. I’m not delusional.
I’m just happy to have a one-season break from hearing about Tom Brady and his awesomeness. This injury? It changes everything in the AFC. We can actually have an exciting season this year because now the playing field is wide open. Who’s going to the playoffs… this year, we can honestly say, WHO KNOWS?!

“I am a Bills fan, and I hate Tom Brady with the fire of a thousand suns.”
I just laughed out loud at this comment – I’m with you!!!
I think you sound like a sore loser…and I’m not even a Pats fan
I love when people post in disagreement with me, but only anonymously.
Sore loser? I guess that’s possible, seeing as how the Bills haven’t made the playoffs in almost 10 years. You’d probably be sore about that, too. But I’d say at this point, I am pretty used to it. I don’t really go into each season expecting much. And even with Brady’s injury, like I said… not expecting my team to go anywhere. Hard to see how that makes me a sore loser.
I talked to a few Giants fans at work this morning who were also laughing about Brady’s injury. And last I checked, their team swept the Pats off their high horses in the Superbowl just a few short months ago. Sore losers?
Lighten up, Anonymous. I just like to do a little trash talking. It’s all in good fun. Are you even a football fan?
Hey anonymous, stick it in your ear. I’m a sore loser too then.
I have to be honest. I don’t think it’s funny or “a dream come true” for anyone to get a life/career altering injury. I don’t really care which team you route for…laughing at someone else’s misfortune is cowardly. It’s like saying “awesome, Janie got cancer because she is such a biitch.” I can’t believe people actually think like this and would wish someone else to go through pain, rehab, and life altering changes so that their team could win.
You need a disclaimer on your blog: only those with a sense of humor (aka sore losers) are allowed…frigid and uptight people, read no further!
Not sure if Anonymous #2 is the same person as Anonymous #1 or if I now have two anonymous haters.
Regardless… Anonymous #2, your comparing a torn ACL to cancer is absolutely asinine. Life/career changing? He’s a QB, not a running back. Last time I checked, his moneymaker is his arm and shoulder. He will heal. An ACL injury is really not that big of a deal. Both of my cousins suffered that same injury playing lacrosse in HIGH SCHOOL, for crying out loud.
Tom Brady is still going to get paid for this season, regardless of his injury. His well being will not be affected, I assure you. Perhaps now he can fit in some time with his son that he abandoned before he was even born.
But you’re right, you got me. I “wished this on him” so I must’ve made it happen. I had my Tom Brady voodoo doll, and by golly, it worked! Watch out, Jets fans… I’m after Favre next!!
I don’t like Tom Brady as a person, but I wanted a high-scoring QB for Fantasy Football so he was my first selection.
I am just bummed all the strong QBs are taken now, BUT I am still winning in both leagues!
Ah, Hailey, I feel your pain. I have had many injured players in my years of fantasy football. Probably none with as great an impact as Tom Brady, but still. Don’t worry, you can win without him! I have never drafted him, and I have done well EVERY SINGLE YEAR! :)
Anonymous #2: I think that its absurd to laugh at people when they get injured. It is ridiculous; regardless of his character or personal attributes (or lack there of). Yes, major surgery and 6 months or rehab is a minor injury ::rolls eyes:::.
I’m a Giants fan so I could careless about him but I think it is heartless to laugh at someone when they get injured.
Cowardly = Posting negative comments as “Anonymous”
Heartless= finding joy in other people’s pain.
How is Piscataway, NJ?
Refreshed my page quite a few times today, huh? 40+.
For someone who thinks I’m heartless, you sure seem to care a lot about what I have to say.
