Toddler Tornado
For all who were wondering how on Earth a playroom could look this spotless…
…this is an example of what it looks like after Nora has had her way with it.
The parental cleaning service comes through at 7:30 p.m. every night, after the toddler is in bed. :)
This is the way all kids “play,” right? With an attention span of 0.5 seconds before they move onto the next thing?

I'm Heather. I'm 33 and have been married to Michael for seven years. Together, we have two beautiful little girls we love more than anything, and a miniature dachshund who drives us crazy. I'm a full-time working mom who has very little time for my own "stuff" these days, like home improvement, cooking/baking, cake decorating, and photography. Despite the team not making the playoffs since 1999, I'm STILL a Buffalo Bills fan, which I think speaks to my loyalty AND sense of humor. I can't wait to pick up the pace with travel again some day... you know, when we're done being ruled by tiny fists. Welcome to my blog. The Address

Ha, thanks for letting us be privy to the messes of toddler life too, lest we think we are the only ones with occasionally messy houses! :)
HA HA, this makes me feel so much better as that is our house every day. Why pull out just one book when you can empty the bin–Elle’s new philosophy!
Try to include her include cleanup. It will pay off HUGE later! We have a neighbor come over who is the same age as my son who doesn’t understand the word cleanup (she’s 3.5). It’s crazy…she still acts like she’s a toddler tornado!!
Carter is allowed to destroy his playroom, but then responsible for cleaning up most of it – MOST of the time this happens without complaint! ;)
I WISH we had a play room. Our living room has an area outside our kitchen that’s made for a dining area, we never purchased a table so we’ve turned it into Kira’s play area. We too have the same philosophy, why clean up when they’re just going to tear it all apart again?! We do try to include Kira in the end of the night clean up when we go into quiet time after dinner (7ish). We take a bath, clean up & either read books or watch one of her favorite tv shows. We don’t let her watch a lot of tv during the day, I’ve found using it at night is a way to get her to relax, sit still & unwind :)
LOVEE the playroom though! My husband says he wants to model our one day play room after yours ;)
Great Job Mama!
