I’ve always been a cereal girl. I eat cereal all of the time, for any meal—breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack. Whatever. I love it, and it’s easy.
But then it turned out Vivienne has a cow’s milk protein intolerance, and I had to give up milk products. And try as I might, I can’t handle […]
Yeah, two totally unrelated subjects.
First of all, I mentioned in Vivienne’s 5-month post that she is still rocking the swaddle. But unfortunately, the time has come—we need to ditch it. Last night, she rolled over in her swaddle about 30 minutes after I put her to bed. She was sleeping, but she fussed and […]
I posted a few weeks back about how we started having challenging nights with Vivienne due to her constant grunting/whining/straining sounds. I wasn’t sure what to make of it at the time—some babies are just noisy sleepers, and I thought it was just a part of her—but I also thought that MAYBE there was something […]
I’ve asked my dentist a few times about when I should plan to bring Nora in for her first appointment/cleaning. Each time, they told me to wait until she was three years old. When I was there last December, they mentioned that the next time I come in for my own appointment, I should bring […]
I returned to work yesterday. It felt really strange after being out for nearly 2.5 weeks. Since starting my full-time career after college, the only other times I’ve been out of work that long (or longer) was when we got married and went on our honeymoon, and when I had Nora and took maternity leave. About
I'm Heather. I'm 33 and have been married to Michael for seven years. Together, we have two beautiful little girls we love more than anything, and a miniature dachshund who drives us crazy. I'm a full-time working mom who has very little time for my own "stuff" these days, like home improvement, cooking/baking, cake decorating, and photography. Despite the team not making the playoffs since 1999, I'm STILL a Buffalo Bills fan, which I think speaks to my loyalty AND sense of humor. I can't wait to pick up the pace with travel again some day... you know, when we're done being ruled by tiny fists. Welcome to my blog. The Address
